AR Assam Rifles HCM English Typing Tests

Typing Skill Test for the positions of Head Constable Ministerial (HCM) and Havildar (Clerk) in the Forces, a minimum speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi is required. English typing will be done using Times New Roman font. The English passage will consist minimum of 1750 key strokes. The typing skill test will have a duration of 10 minutes for both English and Hindi Typing. There will be error relaxation of 5% of the total typed words. Beyond the 5% error relaxation there will be error penalty of 10 words for each wrong word. Final Mistake Count = (Total Mistake - 5% of Total Words Typed) * 10 The net speed will be calculated by subtracting the error penalty from the total typed words and dividing it by the time duration.
