CSIR JSA English & Hindi Typing test

Course Image

For candidates applying to the post of Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) at CSIR-CRRI, a typing test will be conducted in either English or Hindi, depending on the candidate's language preference selected during the application process. This typing test is qualifying in nature, meaning it will not contribute to the final merit. The final selection will be based solely on the marks obtained in Paper II of the written examination. For English typing, the required speed is 35 words per minute, while for Hindi typing, it is 30 words per minute. The duration of the typing test will be 10 minutes. Candidates must achieve a minimum of 1750 keystrokes in English or 1500 keystrokes in Hindi. Hindi typing will typically use the Kruti Dev 010 font, although some CSIR institutes may also use the Mangal Inscript font alongside Kruti Dev.
