Candidates are strongly encouraged to practice typing on a regular basis for the RRB NTPC English or Hindi typing examinations in order to meet the required minimum speed of 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi, along with a high level of accuracy. After the permissible 5% error relaxation, each incorrect word attracts a penalty calculated as ten times the number of errors, which may reduce the effective typing speed by one word per minute. Therefore, maintaining accuracy is just as important as achieving the required speed.
To enhance performance, candidates are advised to practice in a real exam–like environment. Regular typing practice on Testmentor.in helps candidates become familiar with the actual test interface, improve speed gradually, reduce errors, and build confidence before the examination. Consistent practice on the right platform can make a significant difference in qualifying the typing test successfully.
